TouchCheck Self Service Kiosk

The TouchCheck® self service kiosks offer customers an innovative approach to efficient hotel check-in and check-out for the hospitality industry and the convenience and efficiency of self service kiosks when seeking a car rental.

This is achieved through an intuitive fully customised touch screen interface, integrated into your business’ software application and providing a convenient and time efficient experience for your customers.

To date, TouchCheck Pty Ltd has been instrumental in enhancing the customer’s experience when checking-in/out of a hotel and in turn, providing more time for extra personalised service in other areas by service industries

How it Works

At check-in time, the TouchCheck/Envent Kiosk System reduces check-in time to less than 45 seconds!

The kiosk lets guests identify themselves by swiping a credit card or membership card, or by entering their membership number or a reservation confirmation number and their last name. Guests who are checking in may also make changes to their profile, which includes such information as address and phone number.

Guests may also modify their departure date (based on availability), number of adults and children on the reservations, retrieve messages, change the credit card on the reservation, and obtain keys via a remote key encoder.

The remote key encoder contains a verification process eliminating distribution of faulty keys. In addition, a safety feature has been included to retract a card that is left in the card dispenser in the event that a guest selects multiple keys and accidentally leaves one behind. The check-in process can occur for both pre-reserved rooms and guests who "walk-in" with no pre-booked accommodation. If the hotel is fully booked then NO AVAILABILITY is displayed. The TouchCheck Kiosk System speeds check-out by letting guests add mini-bar items to their bills if items were consumed just prior to check-out.

Summary of TouchCheck kiosk functionality:

  • Full compatibility with MICROS Fidelio Version 7.14 and Opera 2.6, 3 and 4 PMS softwares.
  • Full compatibility with MICROS Credit Card Payment Gateway or Verisign/Paypal for 100% payment upfront only – no pre-authorisation.
  • Full compatibility with VingCard (VC3), Onity (HT24 / HT28) and Saflok (6000) Electronic Room Key systems with TCP/IP interfaces.
  • Customised screen graphics to reflect brand or corporate identity.
  • Ability to change credit card at check-out.
  • Locate reservation by either PMS or CRS confirmation number, loyalty membership number or credit card number.
  • Ability to modify certain profile details (including, name, address, phone, etc).
  • Remote check-in (with supported key systems).
  • Walk-ins (no pre booked accommodation).
  • Send key information to remote encoders.
  • Display guest folio and messages on screen and printing.
  • Locate departures.
  • Remote check-out.
  • Charging mini-bar articles on check-out only.
  • Ability to modify credit card details at check-in and check-out.
  • Definable check-in and check-out times
